On Thursday 12th November, Komayaka Karate Club where pleased to welcome Sensei Kevin Barlow 7th Dan and National Kumite Coach to their Dojo in Greenfield Oldham.

The class

Sensei commenced the lesson with basic fighting stance and guard. The lesson then progressed to Shukokai/Shito-ryu combinations and Kiai. The lesson culminated with various one step prearranged self defence techniques. At the end of the etiquette, Sensei awarded all students a certificate of attendance Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the lesson and especially Sensei’s unique mix of practical karate and humour. We will definitely be asking Sensei to come again in the near future
